Puppies and Upcoming Litters

We have plans for a black and chocolate litter in early Fall 2025. Please contact me at brookstonelabs@msn.com for details or to get on a future waiting list. Black puppies are due in late October 2025. Please email Sue Ketcham at brookstonelabs@msn.com. for availability or to get on a list for our 2026 litters. We only place puppies in homes where the prospective owner has a solid commitment and knowledge about bringing a puppy into their home as a new family member. Once you have made a commitment to one of our puppies we can begin the process of selecting just the right puppy for you and your family. All puppies are sold with spay and neuter agreements by 18 months of age. Puppy Selection Process The puppy selection process is done by me based on what information you provide both in your application and our conversations. Our puppies are well-socialized, temperament- and aptitude-tested and handled and played with daily. We take notes, photographs, chart behaviors and observe how they interact in the group. Personalities come out and we get to know each one individually. This process is not finalized until late in the 7th week prior to puppies going home. I want puppies to have the best possible home as much as you want the best possible puppy in your home, so me picking the right puppy for you is a task I take VERY seriously. Older Puppies and AdultsThese are puppies held back from our litters with the plan to include in our showing and breeding program. Because of the level of competition in the show ring and the high standard I hold for the dogs in my program, not everyone makes the "cut". These dogs/puppies are healthy, well-socialized, up to date on vaccines, crate-trained and are a nice option for a family that wants to skip the puppy stage. We have a fourteen month old black female avaiable to a family home. She has been started in the field and is on birds successfully (both field and waterfowl).
